Hey Jac, I like the blog posts, this is a cool selection...I have been going on a bit about how Australian Animation should be viewed and distributed more and there are many societies and communities trying to start up to do this also, as other societies, like Film and Television Government and Funding Socities tend not to fund much for Australian Animation and even often quality Australian Television...hence American Reality and poor drawn 2D and Flash animation on ABC etc. However if you like this kind of film and would like to look at Australian and Short Films, there's an awesome Video in the Library for the Animation Section with a series of Australian Short Films, including this animation. I like this film, and I believe it's done pretty well when it was created, however it is a bit old now and I believe it may not be as popular now as I tend not to see much animation for the Film industry competitions etc. I thought this was a cool film. I liked that it appealed to many, and wasn't particularly showing an agenda to the audience, it was just for the quality of the film and could be liked by both people who don't like toads and people who do like toads as it shows the cruelty of humans toward the less liked toads or any of the animals to be named "Pests", as I was and often still am, ha ha. Keep up the good work when you begin working at Maya more you may find you can build or at least find a rig like this etc. :)
Good selection Jac. People should look up the name Andrew Silke.
