No Time Like The Present

Hello All and welcome to my wonderfull world!

Yes there is no time like the present to be enjoying life. I definitely am.
So starts a new chapter in my life. New places, New faces and the big world of animation to enjoy learning.
True to my form I have set my mind to a plan and it only feels like now that my feet are begining to catch up. A very short time ago I was dreaming about this very moment. First day of class in ANIMATION :) , a new State to explore and interesting people to meet. As you can imagine it is nothing like what I had invisioned. Really I didn't have a clue what to expect. Luckily for me it has turned out to be better then anything I had imagined. 'Carpe Deim'- Seize the day!

The Art of ANIMATION
Art is my favorate love of life. I love it all. Art galleries, graffiti walls, music, street art, visual images in all shapes and sizes. I come from a photography background with a interested in the moving image. Maybe its just a natural instinict for a photographer to want to explore the world of a moving image. It would seem that way for me. The art of animation is a whole new world of limitless potential for making any idea a reality. Let the fun begin!

One of the many great things about animation is the study of MOVEMENT. This clip from 'Minnie the Moocher' is my favourite. The introduction to the episode is great swinging dance number and you see how they have applyed it to the ghost character in the cartoon.
